On the same day in April 2009 when he disclosed to me his idea of the Lightning Network Protocol, my brother Leslie Hydes Jr, disclosed to me a concept which has come to be known as the Tail Emission.

I shared this concept with Natasha, aka ‘Satoshi’ and Anastasia, aka ‘Nakamoto,’ on the same occasion that I shared the Lightning Network Protocol concept with them. They went on to incorporate the tail emission in their CryptoNote 2.0 whitepaper.
